The World on Fire
There is significant growth occurring once again, as new country leaders are expanding their outreach efforts. Recently trained leaders are beginning to take action.
In addition to India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Myanmar, new centers have been established in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Malaysia. Leaders in the Philippines are preparing to start their initiatives in early 2025. This expansion has brought these programs into 12 countries, reaching communities that have previously lacked access to educational resources.
We invite you to join us in igniting positive change across these nations.
Please keep in mind the importance of supporting growth in each of the restricted areas. Coaches and tutors are dedicated, often at great personal cost, to bringing hope and educational opportunities to their communities. The following testimonies highlight their impactful work.
"My name is Sunita. I am 13 years old. My teacher, Madam Anu, provides excellent instruction. My family faces significant challenges, so I cannot attend school. However, I joined the tutoring center and have learned to read and write effectively. Madam Anu not only teaches academics but also instills valuable life lessons.
We sing songs and I have learned many positive things. Although my family is initially resistant to new ideas, they are beginning to embrace change. Please keep them in your thoughts. Thank you, Fuel team."
"My name is Lalita. I was born with physical challenges. Unfortunately, my mother struggled to accept me and left home when I was young. My father has cared for me since.
Through a supportive individual, I discovered new opportunities for learning and decided to help others in similar circumstances. I became involved with the tutoring program and am thrilled to share knowledge and support with the students. I'm grateful for the impact this initiative is creating."
"I am Shiva. I faced significant health challenges as a child and was unable to walk for several years. After receiving support and encouragement, I began to heal, which led to a transformation in my family's outlook on life.
Before joining this program, I was part of a small gathering of individuals. Now, after participating in these community initiatives, I help organize various centers and lead tutoring efforts. Thank you for your support."
We hope you find encouragement in these stories from leaders and participants in this mission. These are just a few examples; many more positive transformations are happening.
